Pine wood derby

In preparation for the pine wood derby we just watched the movie "Down and Derby"  pretty  cute little movie. 

I think it's funny that all the dad's want to make their kids cars and my husband took my boys to the base wood shop to have them cut their cars out for them.  They still got to do the "fun part" pick out the paint though.  Oh wait not really cause we only had two colors available since we didn't want to run to the store.  I think my boys are still happy though. :) 

Maybe I'll even remember to take my camera and get pictures of the big event so I can post them for you all to see here. ;)
