Puffs the Guinea Pig has a Party

The boys did this over Christmas break.  It was a lovely break from the fighting and teasing.  Here you see them in their fine party attire.  I was tickled at this.  They even made me change out of my pj's to participate.
They put her party right by the train where the Christmas tree once stood.  The plate of food is her cake containing an apple slice, carrot slices and green onions.  Jack prepared this lovely cake.  They decorated her napkin too.
Queen Puffs on her throne.  This is one of my food storage buckets.  The boys use them for stools and we often use them for extra chairs when guests come over but obviously they thought it would make a great throne for their queen.  They made a sign for her too as you can see.
I just loved this addition to the party decor.  Jack said these are fireworks.  Every guinea pig needs fireworks for her birthday party.
Sam holding his pig, sporting some lovely PJ pants and his little too tight green shirt that he usually wears with the shiny red athletic pants.:)
Lest we forget David.  This was his birthday party attire.  Looks like he matches the best.  They all combed their hair and laid out a bunch of blankets for the humans to relax on.  It was truly a fun party.

what a loved pig! That's cute that went all out for their pet. In 5+ years they won't believe that story you retell.

Sounds fun,and so creative, I don't think we would've ever done something so cool for our animals when we were kids.
